About the project
Storviks IF is constantly looking at how we can get more people to engage through spontaneous sports and how we can reach individuals who do not participate in any of the sports we normally offer. An outdoor gym is something that has been requested for a long time by residents in Storvik. The project creates an accessible form of training and meeting place for everyone, not just for the association's members.

We want to contribute to Storvik as a community. Everyone is welcome here!
We place great importance on sports being accessible and free.
The location of the outdoor gym is accessible and easy to reach for everyone, but is also secluded so that the target group who wants to train ”without an audience” has that opportunity.
We want to promote spontaneous sports and joy of movement overall. The gym is a good alternative for those who cannot afford to buy a gym membership and it simultaneously becomes a new social meeting place for the village's residents.
