About us

Leader Gästrikebygden is a non-profit association that works with rural development. We both coach and finance development projects in the countryside of Gästrikland. Within Leader, we work with the Leader method. The Leader method means that we focus on local needs, engagement, and collaboration. 

Associations, businesses, and public organizations that want to develop the countryside in Gästrikland can apply for project support from us. Please contact us at the office, and we will tell you more!

Do you want to become a member?

Leader Gästrikebygden is a non-profit, public utility association based in Gästrikland since 2015.

Membership in the association can be obtained by associations, businesses, and public entities that operate in our leader area. Private individuals cannot become members. The membership fee is 100 SEK. Do you want to become a member of the association? Email the organization's name and contact details to info@leadergastrikebygdenllu.se and we at the leader office will help with the rest!

The purpose of the association is to be a catalyst for rural development in general and to drive leader activities in particular.
