About the board

The board's mission is to decide which projects best help us reach our goals and should receive support. The board has the greatest responsibility for the association's work and is elected by the members at the association's meeting.

According to the Swedish Board of Agriculture's rules for the leader operation, the board shall:

Consist of an equal number of representatives from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
Have knowledge that fits our strategy for the area's development.
Have an even gender distribution (maximum 60/40).
Represent different parts of our area.

Training in organization for Leader 2023-2027

This information is aimed at leader areas and the target group is the LAG board, the nomination committee, and staff at the operational office.

The training focuses on the conditions that leader associations must follow during the program period 2023-2027. Within the training, there are sections on the leader method, the management and work of the LAG association, as well as the leader office and administration. There is also a section on public procurement.
