The project is about a redevelopment of an older playground within the Skatbacken Community Association in Furuvik. The project will transform the playground into a safe, attractive, and modern meeting place for both children and adults. In addition to play equipment, educational elements such as nature and animal boards, as well as exercise equipment for adults, are planned, which will make the place accessible for all ages. With the investment, a safe, inspiring, and sustainable gathering point for residents in the area is created, while also providing a place for everyone living nearby to meet and socialize.

From the application

”We believe that a modern meeting place for both adults and children to play and exercise contributes to a more sustainable and attractive living environment in the area.

The project strengthens the place by giving people in the area a place to socialize and meet, a place that is accessible and open to all.”
