Ockelbo Working Dog Club is making a new start!
About the project
The working dog club saw a need for community and activities for the target groups hunters with dogs and retirees with dogs. To meet this need, the project will prepare two activity areas with obstacles. An open obstacle course will be built in connection with Hälsans stig and will invite spontaneous activity and meetings with others.
The second activity area will be fenced in to provide a safe place and secure activities for a target group with dogs that need an enclosure.
Within the project, two new courses aimed at the target groups will also be developed. Collaboration is taking place with PRO locally and the Hunter Association Ockelbo.
From the application
”Through the project, the target group hunters with dogs and retirees with dogs will receive new activities, collaboration with others and
more contact and obedience with their dogs.
Ockelbo municipality will have a spontaneous sports area for public health and social community available almost year-round.”
